National Mills Weekend
The Society for the protection of ancient buildings (mills section) run this national event every year on or around the second weekend in May. The Denby Dale Radio Society are co-ordinating the Radio side of the event. This event is not a contest; just have a good time and promote Amateur Radio while helping to preserve some of our heritage. For full details click the link below.

GB0AM - 2003
(Angel Mill on the Isle of Portland)
Jon, G2FHF jon@portlandbill.co.uk was planning to operate on Saturday the 10th of May 2003 as part of the windmills and watermills on the air weekend from one of the Portland windmills using the callsign GB0AM (Angel Mill) - see map below. The mills are situated south of Easton and are accessible via the track from Weston Street. However due to unforeseen circumstances Jon was not available to run the station and no operation from GB0AM actually took place. This page has therefore been retained for reference only.
